Doctrine

What we believe at KOTH.

1. God is a trinity. One God manifest in three persons. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

2. Jesus the Christ is God in the Flesh, alive and well today at the right hand of God the Father interceding for the sins of Believers of Christ Jesus.

3. To be born again all one must do is believe in Christ Jesus. We are saved by the finished work of Christ.

4. All believers that make up the body of Christ will be raptured away from the Earth. This will occur before the seven years of tribulation. We will meet Christ in the air (this is not the second coming of Christ). The second coming will occur at the end of the seven year tribulation period.

5. The tribulation is to bring Israel to a spiritual new birth and maturity. Then, Israel can lead the Gentiles to Christ in the Kingdom Age.

6. The tribulation has nothing to do with the Church. The Church is in the Heavens during the tribulation.

7. We believe Adam was created in the image and likeness of God and this made man a trinitarian (three parts). These three parts of man consist of: Spirit, Soul and Body.

8. We do not equate Spirit and Soul! They are not the same. Your spirit is what God gave you through the finished work of Christ at the cross. Your soul is your life; the old man (your old desires), this is what one must overcome in this physical life.

9. We are spiritually perfect through and by the finished work of Christ. Our body will be redeemed after the Rapture. Our present body we have now is still lost. Our soul will, or, will not be redeemed at the judgment seat of Christ. This judgment does not determine whether one is going to Heaven or Hell. This judgment determines the believer’s inheritance and position in the Millennial Kingdom.

10. We do not believe you can ever lose your salvation. Scripture does not support the theory that one can lose their salvation. Jesus said it is finished. That is Grace.

11. Scripture does support the forfeiture of your inheritance at the judgment seat of Christ. Contrary to popular belief, there is no equality in the Kingdom Age. All believers in the church dispensation make up the body of Christ. Only those that overcome the flesh, world and the Devil make up the bride of Christ. Eve was taken from the side of Adam’s body (a single rib- a small portion from his body). God created a Bride. Jesus is the last Adam and so shall it be a small portion from his body, will make-up his Bride. “Many are called, few are chosen”.

12. We believe Gods Word is infallible in the original text. This text was written by the prophets in their language at the time it was composed, and was inspired by the Holy Spirit.

13. We support the King James Version of God’s Word because it does not take deity from Christ. We are not King James worshipers and have no problem fellowshipping with believers who carry and read other translations. We do not push our personal convictions on others.

14. We do not believe one is a bad Christian for carrying another translation.

15. We believe Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary through the Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus died for the sins of the entire world. Jesus rose from the dead on the third day and ascended to the third Heaven after forty days. He is now the High Priest at the right hand of the father interceding for the sins of Christians. Jesus is in a body of flesh and bone.

16. We do not follow the doctrine man has created, such as traditions and ceremonies and ritualistic worship. We follow the doctrine in God’s Word.
